Hi, it is Rich & Rita. Between the two of us, we know what it feels like when your body takes the hit of everyday life.

I've spent years working on building sites as a tradesman, and more recently in architecture , which means I've felt the physical toll of hard labour and the slow grind of long desk days. Two completely different worlds, but the same result. A body that carries the weight of it all.

Rita spends her days as a primary school teacher, and is now transitioning into aged care. She is also a mum to our young daughter. Anyone who knows those roles understands the lifting, the constant movement, the mental load. It doesn't leave you when the day ends. You carry it home.

What stood out to us wasn't just the discomfort. It was how normal it had become. Sore backs, stiff shoulders, tight necks accepted as just part of life. Part of the job. Part of being a parent.

The options for dealing with it often felt limited too. Some things offered temporary relief at best, while treatments like massage or physio could be expensive, hard to schedule, or difficult to keep up consistently.

There didn't seem to be a simple middle ground. Something people could use at home, in their own time, without turning self care into something complicated or overwhelming.

That's when we started looking more closely at simple at-home tools like red light therapy. Not as a quick fix, and not to replace healthy habits but as a way to support the body that felt achievable and realistic. Something that could fit naturally into everyday life.

The more we learned, the clearer it became that this wasn't just our story. Whether you're on your feet all day, behind a desk, raising kids, or simply carrying the physical weight of showing up every day many people felt caught between solutions that didn't do much and treatments that were hard to commit to.

They wanted to feel better without appointments, pressure, or complicated routines.
